Many years go now, I set upon a path of both active love and contemplation. I realized that without quiet, devoted periods of time with Jesus I could not be truly Love for others. God is Love. I want to be consumed by God’s Love. Jesus shows the Way. I must listen quietly to Jesus in my heart. I must prayerfully read the Gospels to hear and follow Jesus. Contemplating daily gives me the heart of Love! When I have Love I am also able to have and give Joy!
